I was in London yesterday. There is a wonderful conservation campaign going on at the moment to save the Asian elephant. It’s called the ‘Elephant Parade’ and to publicise this cause and raise funds for it, there are 250 elephants, each decorated by a different artist or celebrity, all over London. This one is decorated by Diane von Furstenberg the dress designer. The elephants are eventually to be sold at an auction to raise money for the cause.     • I would think Milo would be terrified – they are about 4 feet tall!

      According to the web site, they are hoping to raise £2 million. I have just divided that by 250 and that works out at £8000 per elephant. I’ll pass….
