Of all the books I have made, this is my favourite. It is called a dos à dos binding (back to back) as it results in a double book which can be opened from two directions. The cover is Belgian linen book cloth which has been printed in an inkjet printer with a photograph I took of some arum lilies – which are also amongst my favourite flowers. Opening one way the book has a yellow bookcloth spine and matching yellow and white spotted paper on the inner cover. From the other direction, the book has a lime green spine and matching green and white spotted paper. One side of the book has rough watercolour paper pages, the other side has smooth cartridge paper. It closes with a thin white ribbon.
I remember this from your regular blog…I love it too! You make the most incredible books!
Thank you, you are very sweet 🙂
I could get dizzy reading a book like that. Where to start ; )
I remember this one too. Very nice
