The last time I saw this hillside it was covered in snow. It is even prettier in the summer.  Swiss farms are small, the fields are so tidy they appear manicured, with delightful farmhouses and farm buildings and the constant sound of cow bells. We even saw a flock of sheep all wearing bells around their necks. You would have thought it would drive the animals crazy but they don’t seem to notice. This hillside is just outside of Schindellegi, above Lake Zurich. Click to enlarge.
