I’ve read that food photography is very difficult to do well. To me the main problem seems to be a) preventing the steam from the hot asparagus fogging up my lens and b) not eating the subject before a satisfactory image has been obtained.
I give you…roasted asparagus just waiting to be drizzled with a little balsamic vinegar and topped with a few shavings of parmesan. Yum.

Food photography is indeed difficult…that’s why I suck at it! =} Your reasons are so true; half the time, I’m down to the last 3 mouthfuls of food before I realized “dang! I forgot to take a photo.” LOL!
