Today, I spotted this growing in the hedgerow which borders the footpath where Milo and I walk each day. It was at the back of the hedge so I couldn’t get very close to inspect it properly. It appears to be growing from a rose so I guess it is some weird kind of rose hip but after loads of research, I am no closer to tracking down exactly what it is. It seems to be the only one growing along the whole length of the path. I have not spotted any before despite scouring the hedgerow for suitable subjects for photographs each day, many of which you have seen here.  It’s a mystery – anyone help?

  1. I visited your other blog today. I have to applaud you. It’s about all I can do to maintain one blog, let alone two. I loved your post about the tennis escapade…and the flies. Ouch! Great shot here. It’s color is very interesting! Great job on both blogs!
