November 2nd 2010

This was taken at a place called Muckleford, looking towards Frampton in Dorset. I was on the way to play tennis and just had to stop to take this photograph when I saw the colour of these trees. Just beautiful. I drove to Salisbury the other day and the whole journey was just spectacular, it seemed every tree was a different vibrant autumnal colour, the landscape was illuminated by them on a very dull day.  I know New England is famous for the  tree colours in the Fall but Old England is doing a really good job this year too.  Click to enlarge the image.
